If the spread of bird flu continues Sepp Blatter has been quoted as saying The World Cup may have to be cancelled
Addidas is an obvious sell in that event any others???

i dont think Pervy Uncle Sepp will bow to cancelling/postponing the World Cup..

firstly he has had all sorts of crazy ideas in the past, very few of which have actually come to fruition,

and secondly, in this capitalist world we live in, the sponsors have too much at stake to allow the event to be cancelled.. Maccy Dee's and Budweiser just wouldnt allow it..

also, there is no such thing as an obvious sell, sadly...

perhaps, but the markets are probably already in the process of pricing in any change to the world cup proceedings...

if there is an obvious sell, it is on the number of goals Rotundaldo will score. i would be surprised if he manages more than 2 all tournament.

If you did want to trade this I noticed that SGWarrants have a 'World Cup Warrant' which bundles in half-a-dozen companies most leveraged (in their view) to the tournament. Details would be on the SGWarrants web-site.
