The weekend has landed. I have a question to pose to all your Pro traders out there. I've currently been looking into spreadbetting the FTSE100 intraday. I know it is probably not an easy task to accomplish however I just wondered if anyone does trade the FTSE and what method they use.
I've been looking into various Pivot Point formulas including Woodies and Camarilla, as well as Tom Demarcs Range expansion Index. I'm not totally convinced on how well Pivot points work, so I've also used Fib levels which also seem to tie in with the various Pivot point levels. My final strategy is that of moving averages. Again I'm not certain how well these work as triggers, but everything at this moment is a consideration.
I'm not looking for anyone to give me the answers here. I know that using various techniques and Indicators I may increase my chances of knowing when to open a long or short position. As it happens the FTSE seems to have opened a Higher Higher on a Monday (except the last) for at least the past the past 3 months. Overall as I'm sure everyone knows it is pretty bullish.
Anyway if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated.
