Does anyone here spreadbet options? I'd be very interested to know what sort of spreads to expect,as I hope to use finspreads soon. Also I am certain there will be a cost for abandonment,so you get a haircut on both ends of the trade, can anyone confirm this? Happy trading.

Hi Windlesham,
I'm looking to start spreadbetting options also. Do you know of any more spreadbetting companies offering options bets? I cannot seem to find a list on the Finspreads site detailing exactly what options you can trade, have you any information on this?
Cheers, Paul

Finspreads made a big deal of this the other week at a 'seminar' I attended, but they suggested I go and see them-if you fancy a trip to their offices to get this 'nailed down' let's see if we can arrange something-currently there are no option prices available on the net from any of the spreadbetters it seems.

unfortunatley i've got far too much college work on at the minute to arrange a visit but thanks for the offer. I need to be able to trade US equity options myself, however i have found cantor index http://www.cantorindex.co.uk/index2.cfm to provide options prices on their site for wall street/dax/ftse. Maybe this will help?

Also i believe IG index have a good selection of tradeable options. I tried setting up an account with them online but they said they couldnt verify my details (probably because im 18 and don't have a credit record) and i had to send drivers licence etc at which point i turned off because i'm short of time at the minute. Looking forward to my gap year starting this summer, will be doing nothing but trading, having holidays and house hunting! should be fun (at last!)

I'm currently trading wih deal4free however they "don't do options" apparently. I still have alot to learn about options and how they work but i'd like to become more confident with them as i'm sure there are trading situations where options are best used.

Hope this can be of help to you,
Paul
