Why do you want to use such a crap? The backtesting results are wrong in most cases. The language is a total mess. Do not waste your money. Get Amibroker or something similar.

Hi Paul, have you made comparisons of backtest results with those of another program?

I have not used backtesting for quite some time but when I did the results going forward were comparable with the backtests results. You may well be right about the inaccuracy of backtesting but apart from that I still find TS2000i to be very good for my needs including the writing of complex custom indicators. I also know of others who still use it to place completely automated trades without any issues.

Hi Paul, you sound like a very experienced system developer and trader.
While attending a conference I heard people saying that TS2000i has a bug in the backtesting and it would not enter a trade on an exit bar. For me this is nort a problem since I always exit positions at the close so when I tried it I did not noticed if that was the case anyway.
