I found a decent YM e-mini day trading site called PureTick.com they seem to focus mostly on education and psychology but the head trader Alex makes good calls and I've had some good success there.

Has anyone else used their service?

i've just pinged some spammer called steve for promoting this company. are you one of the same or connected in some way or a genuine enquiry ? If the latter, my advice is to steer well clear.

I've been a member of Puretick for 5 months and they are an excellent educational tool for people that want to learn how to trade. It's hardly spam helping people find somewhere to learn to trade is it?

no, but there were spammers actively promoting this company, so even genuine posts are naturally going to fall under a wee bit of suspicion my friend ....

It is so when NinjaGroove happens to look remarkably similar to CajunSniper from puretick

Good spot there Mr exile, will kick their butts later on today.

Say bye bye to this thread! :spam:

Rockhound is in the puretick room.

Sorry, but isn't that what I wrote above? Actually, I'm not currently an active member of the trading room as I'm working to save some cash for trading. Having said that, I would still happily recommend them, or at least give feedback to anyone who wanted to know what they do and how they teach people to trade, and so on.

Rockhound, I am a member of the room but I am starting to question it since I belong to two other rooms.

just a thought

Hi Margeryr1;
I am in the Puretick room and a few others also. I believe that when Alex calls a trade it is up to you to confirm the trade and decide weather to take it or not. I think on the whole you have to learn his trading style before you become profitable.
Good luck trading,
Soveral

Yes, I think too many new traders find a mentor and then get frustrated when they aren't profitable right away. They've got to learn that this is completely NORMAL. Like many other difficult things in life, trading take times to learn and become successful at - allow anywhere from 12 months to 3 or 4 years to become profitable - if it was much less than that then everyone would be doing it. Too many blame their mentors for their 'failures' in the early stages of the learning process - but it's just part of the process. Persist and keep trying to improve!

So guys is this room good or not? Now I am mainly interested in profitable trade calls than learning. What was the profitnavigation about? This site is under construction currently.

yea what's the scoop. Why should it take 3 years to become profitable if your are doing the same trade as a guy who runs puretick and been at it for like 20 years. Either he makes good calls or not. UNLESS its like that school of trade (sot) joker that runs on a simulator 5 trade windows you can't see then suddenly pulls into view the
one trade that is in the green. and then asks the room? "Did any one get my trade also? lol. no one can get his trades then we figured out what he was doing. what scam artist. hes one of the best!

Before 2001 I used to think a fund money manager would actually manage my money and prevent loss. Silly me.

This room is a very good room if you want to listen to the moderator talk about aeroplanes or cats but if you want to learn to trade do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

I looked at their performance record and it seems impressive. but when I asked alex to produce a trading room log or transcript, he refused. So I was never able to verify its accuracy. Can you tell me how accurate is the performance recorded at puretick.com?

I was a member many years ago, for a few months if I recall. The published performance is a fabrication, the guy is a nut case, always talking about how Goldman Sachs were offering him a million a year to join them. He also had some redneck from Alabama or somewhere as his sidekick. Mildly entertaining in a certain way but a waste of money at the end of the day.
