I had a good week last week until yesterday when I traded when tired. It's the only time I really lose. But I did have a strange dream about stocks. As soon as the stock gave me a profit, they appeared as food and (I can't remember but I think a mouthfull 'appeared' in my mouth immediately the stock gave me a profit). Then another stock I owned, had just bought gave me a 'profit' and more rich food appeared on the table and I knew I'd have to eat it and I thought 'I can't eat (all) that'.

I've decided to give 10% of my weekly gains to charity. Is this the best way to tackle the problem?

I think that your dream is perfectly natural. Making money equated to food. When you make money you can eat. Your food was good food - rich food. It equates to the good things in life, but is honestly made. More and more appears as you consume it meaning that you are confident with your system.

There are many books around on "creating wealth", self-fulfilment, NLP etc, of which many state that you should visualise what you desire in order to attain it. There are books on self-hypnosis that advocate that you should make these images larger than life, such as your dream.

Good for you for giving some of your gains to charity. This allows a free flow of your energy to continue successfully in the future.

Finally - I don't think there is any problem whatsoever. On the contrary this dream and your reaction to it points to a very well-balanced sense of yourself

Sounds a bit like what Mark Douglas says about not feeling you deserve everything you give yourself, that you have a view of how much you deserve in relation to the work you do and anything beyond that is excessive. If you have some bigger than usual wins, do you tend to give the 'surplus' money back?

I think that your dream may show that you have a clear awareness of what your trading profits equate to - enabling you to provide. Perhaps it shows that you are aware of the basic things that a person actually needs in life to survive (food, water), and flash cars, private jets etc. do not really enter your thinking?

Perhaps it also shows that you have a conscience about the rewards that you attain. Maybe you are not a greedy person by nature, like to share things, and do not like to see excess or waste?

Perhaps you enjoy the process of attaining the profits rather than the basking in the lavish rewards that your profits can buy?

Perhaps politically, you're more of a socialist than a capitalist?

I would not worry about your dream, it sounds perfectly rational.
