Best indices to focus on?

Hi, I have been spread betting a number of markets for some time now but would like to just focus on one or two. What markets do most people trade and which would you recommend to focus on for a new trader?

Hi,The ftse 100 is as good as anywhere to start,if your a new trader.
simply for the amount of information there is on it,thats not to say its any easer than any other market they all go up and down.
consentrate all your efforts on one market get that right then your on your way.

Don't try learning a bit about everything learn alot about one.

ftse is a bit sissy and goes hysterical on the slightest scare. Do dow jones instead.
