Doing a bit of research into trading INSIDE BARS (using them as a trigger to get into a trade) and I have not come across a lot on the interwebnet to get my teeth into. Has any other members got anything stored on their Hard Drives or know of any useful links that may assist me in my quest/thirst for knowledge on this subject ? Thanks in anticipation.....

didnt james16 have something about IBs combined with some stoch settigns a while ago? over on FX babpips or similar, there is a "40 to 100 pips a day" type thread. (I did attend the skype/paltalk type room, but there seemed to be a lot of decisions being made contrary to the doc describing the method.) EDIT: found it: (jim16!) http://www.trade2win.com/boards/firs...ng-system.html

Nick, it's the devil's work - completely meaningless - all of it. Just switch TFs and get a different perspective on your IB. Seriously, it just means there was less price exploration/discovery during that timeslice. You can try and read relative volume context into it, but when all is said and done... |

Listen Metaphor Mickey, there are as many dashes for the attic/cellar after an IB IN ANY TF, as there are gently teasing just up/down the next step or even along the same hallway for as long as it takes for Gramps to catch up. Last edited by TheBramble; Jun 23, 2008 at 12:18pm. |
