I am planning to start my trading very soon and would like to get your advice on choosing broker. Interactive broker is the one which comes highly recomended.
Since my trading style would be trading on 1 minute charts, for stocks like google and aaple ON MARKET price orders. I have not mastered limit orders as much as i does not suit my style. I hope to find a broker that will give me very close to market fill around the openning bell times - 9:30am to 11:00am.
I am planning to get Esignal for market data and charts along with IB.
Please advise.

Was wondering if you have come accross Nasdaq velocity and forces tool. This is available via the scottrade elite account and also directly through nasdaq (official website) for a very cheap pricing.
I tried the demo form the official website and seemed very efficient to time exits and some entries.

I am new to trading and new to this website. this site looks like a good place for gaining some insight from experienced individuals like you.
I need some help on deciding my broker, data feeder + charting + scanner set up.
So far i have IB (broker) + Esignal for data and charting + Trade Ideas for scanner

I plan to be making somewhere between 5 to 10 trades a day, scalping 15 to 30 cent moves in US STOCKS ONLY. (dreams) I hope to get a Fast execution at Market price + REAL time charting

How much leverage (approx.) would IB give on a $30K deposite for day trading ?

Is it better to use the IB data feed during very high/busy market times as SOME say it wont lag as much as others will?
