US Election results and trading strategy?

Good morning all. I haven't been around these past for weeks now as I have been busy with working too much! ugh!

Just a quick question for anyone and everyone. What was the futures market like during the last election day? In other words, how did the SPU December contract behave on election day 4 and 8 years ago? Was there a expanded range that occured before the polls closed and after the polls closed in after hours trading? Would someone recall and post what happened, for my information please? I am thinking that there could be some decent volatility in the futures market.
