Hi All,

Is anyone else trading on a medium term basis the FTSE (or other indices)? I have been for a few months now and would welcome a discussion on strategy plus on this term share opinions on where the index is headed.

Thanks,
Steve.

Have you checked out http://www.whichwaynext.com/about/ftse-100-system/
He doesn't give the actual details but the results look pretty good, at least for the last 5 years..i've been following this for the last few months and the system seems to hold up and has generated a nice return. He's now looking at an intraday strategy for the FTSE and longer term strategies for FTSE stocks

Thanks Malaguti, I haven't come across this before. I will take a look when I have more time tomorrow. Would you be interested in further conversations around this topic?? Always looking at new angles and learning from others.

Happy to Steve. I've been working on quite a few strategies where the FTSE is concerned. It would be good to work and learn from others.

Hey Michael, while that would be fine by me. You are currently short FTSE and have been since 20th and you didn't take profit during the recent dip. What is your strategy?? Doesn't seem to be too successful Sept to date, would be interested to hear your views??

why do you refer to someone else ?

when in fact you are promoting your own website and your own analysis ?

I'm confused............why dont you say it is your analysis ?

"This trading strategy is used on daily charts and uses a combination of indicators to generate the signals. Since 2006 this strategy has turned a £10,000 account into over £30,000 using just £2/point and has not had a losing year. The maximum risk is 3% of the account size, and has generated approximately 40% average annual returns."

It is illegal to promote your own wesbite on trade2win ?

I would stop doing this my friend otherwise you can get banned on trade2win ......I am just helping you out buddy so be careful , it only takes one complaint from someone and they will ban you ?

Mr Maluguti.........please dont post details about your website on my thread again

I have generated more than 0.5 million hits through my hard work, hours spent on accurate analysis and forecasts ..........not to mention helping people from being duped by charlatans selling signals.

please create your own thread and promote your services on there

thank you
