getting started

Right I was looking for advice from some of the members about how to procede with trying for a career in asset management/sales/trading.

I am looking to get into this as this is my main interest. I've been demo trading and recently have been involved with a trading fund within my university. I have attended a few presentatons by the larger assest management companies and have decided that this career would suit me well.

I was therefore wondering if someone could give some advice as to how i should pursue this.
