Evening all...

I am currently trading from home using a 17" laptop (meaning the amount of charts I can view is limited.) Could somebody please tell me what I would need in order set up a pc with multiple screens? As like most traders I am used to having numerous screens, however before they had been already set up for me as I know a very limited amount about computers.

Would it perhaps be possible to buy a couple of screens and attach them to my laptop so that it would appear as if I had a 3 screens?

I look forward to your answers,

Pelzar!!

Laptops already have an output socket for an extra screen, check if it's VGA or DVI for an adaptor etc etc. There are external devices you can buy - but a £50 external graphics card might suffice (for an extra 2 sockets to meet your 3rd monitor).

There is a way of making both screen and monitor display (sometimes if you plug an external monitor in, the laptop screen goes blank).

managed to sort it, so that i have dual screens.

Thanks for the advice!!

What made you decide to leave the firm you were trading at? Dante's jokes wearing a bit thin?? :)
