ICMA Centre Reading University or trainee trader position??

Hi all,

I have been accepted onto the MSc International Securities Investment and Banking at the ICMA Reading University. I am in my mid twenties and have experience in middle office with a trading firm and front office with a private equity firm.

I would like to hear opinions on whether it would be better to take the MSc as a route into getting into trading as a full time career with an IB / trading firm or to look for a assistant trader role now?

Just for info the cost of the MSc is 15k and it runs for 10 months.

Hi Chao, I have applied to ICMA as well and would want someone to tell me about the course and the institution. Do you think the ICMA is well reputed enough when it comes to job after your after and also do you think the price tag on the course which is £16k is well worth it?

Hello everyone!
I have been offered a place in Manchester Business School in MSc in Finance and in Henley Business School (Reading) in MSc Investment Management.

Which University / Programme will offer me more (and better) job oportunities and which is more respectable among employers in finance?
In the MSc Investment Management there is no Research dissertation but instead the modules are 11.

I really need your help because I have to make a decision until next week and I am confused...
