Interview Guidance

Hi Guys,

Need some assistance so that I can prepare for a meeting that is scheduled for tomorrow, which I only learnt about last night.

have an equity derivative meeting/interview tomorrow with and I am seeking clarity on some points which I believe could help me out. I was hoping that you could assist me with this.

If you could in layman's English as my mind is swirling around with thought help me with a few question below. If you have any additional tips that I should employ that would also be fantastic.

1) What are the key developments within Equity Derivative/Equity markets within the last moment
2) Using the above information where is the market going and why.
3) What factors can affect projected direction (if any)
4) With state of market what makes Equity Derivatives a product of interest.

I trying to ensure my answers to the interviewer are structured and not generic. It is very tough in the market place so I am looking for an edge to help me over the hurdles.

Hybrids and Illiquid Assets, Index & Single Stock Listed & OTC Equity Derivatives; Correlation, Exotics.

Gooseman can you give me a little extra detail on what I should mention in relation to covered calls.
