When you invest, you adicate responsibility for your decision.
Also commonly known as "buy and hope"

When you trade, you accept responsibilty for not only your purchase,
but more importantly, you accept responsibility for the management
of your purchase including the timing of it´s liquidation no matter whether
you have held the instrument for hours, days or years.

This is probably not what you were expecting to read ... so sorry

Try both and see what is best for YOU.

And which performs better, not everyone is suited to trading in fact most lose.

What is right for me may not be right for you.

You can only try,slowly at first and don't risk too much.

You can make more money trading but only if you are good, it will also depend on how much time and effort you can put in.

Dr. Chinos, you're being more than a little 'inventive' with your interpretation.

What the master actually said, was in archaic Chinese, but a more appropriate translation would be:-

"A chicken that eats the seed will not be hungry today. A chicken that plants the seed will not be hungry tomorrow. But all things equal, grab what you can when you can"."
