I graduated a couple of years ago, did a placement at a derivatives trader and since have been working as a financial advisor for a big retail bank, however I'm very eager to build a career in the city.
I'm looking at the possibilites of becoming a Broker, but I'm a successful independent trader and fund management really inspires me.
What qualification is essential to someone looking at seeking a job in derivatives trading with the long term goal of fund management? I have been recommended the CISI Investment Advice Diploma but want to ensure there isn't a more relevant/more widely recognized qualification out there.
