Marks and Spencer MKS

DONT BUY JEANS form Marks anbd Spencer Or shares In MKS for that matter.

My partner bought a pair of jeans in March and has washed them 12 times yet they still leek blue dye. Unfortunately these have permanently stained one of our £1200 leather recliner chairs. The jeans have also stained a leather handbag.

M&S refuse to give a refund on the jeans even though they are clearly NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE or of MERCHANTABLE QUALITY. I wrote to Marc Bolland and my lettre was passed on to a TOM SMITH in Bolland's "Executive Office. He reqiested we return the ejans to hime which we did. Just seven days later they were retruned to us along with a letter from TOM SMITH stating he cannot find "any evidence of a manufacturing fault" and that M&S refuse a refunbd on the jeans and make no mention of a ruined chair!

So ,much for customer care and service.

Dont buy form this rubbish company is my advice. They have changed and very soon others will feel the same and the share price will plummet. The clothes are expensively priced rubbish imports and the food aint what it used to be best go to WAITROSE!

I also bought a horribly microwave curry from tesco and its was **** so go short on them to.

So don't buy shares in M&S because of a pair of jeans that you're not happy with?

I think most jeans come with warning labels saying the colour may fade onto other fabrics. If your pair from M&S didn't then maybe you can complain on the grounds of no warning label. I know most of my jeans have the warning label as a sticker on the inside or on the price tag.

In regards to them being overpriced imports, I think you'll find the vast majority of clothes in this country are imported and of inferior quality to the clothes that used to be manufactured here. A few firms still manufacture here. Asos.com is one of them I believe.

I bought some shoes from Marks a while back for work. I'd normally wear cheap Clark's ones as I only work behind a bar but thought I'd go for some more comfy ones this time and spend a bit more. So I bought some of the air flex ones from M&S. Within 2 weeks they'd fallen apart. Appalling quality, a waste of leather.*

agreed....

I got ****ing raped on a pair of trousers from marks and spencers a few years ago, they fell apart and they wouldn't give me a refund as I'd apparently been being too rough with them.

M&S are scum.

Were they all falling apart around the crotch area?! To be fair I bet you could ruin even the toughest pair of trousers on a night out!
