New Apple iPhone

There are in the region of 1,000 people queuing outside the Apple store on Regent Street for the new iPhone 4.

Come on, this is just sad. These people are prepared to wait for hours in order to buy a phone which is only marginally more advanced than the one they currently have? I don't get it. Can anyone enlighten me as to how Apple have developed this cult following??

Dunno - I don't buy Apple on principle - I don't like the way they lock you into their technology.

I have a very nice HTC Desire that trounces the current iPhone, saying that the iPhone 4 probably has more capabilities but at the end of the day - it's just a fooking phone.

I'm looking at this line of people waiting to buy a mobile phone, and half of them are chatting on their mobile phones. Errr....

They are all insane. If Apple brought out a toilet brush, these muppets would camp out for that too...

About 90 pct male, and of the 10 pct which aren't, I see no discernible talent.
