lol sorry Robster! Initially i wanted to catch the trend reversals on currencies by looking at fundamentals but beginning to realise that that's a hard task! is it wise to wait until the reversal begins and then trade it? just i've always thought 'waiting until...blah blah blah' was a bad thing to do...but maybe patience will pay off? lol maybe im not being clear hear but any ideas?

I find a playful yet forceful entry to be most satisfying. Incidentally it's all discretion and I don't usually wait for any indicators.

right so from now on i'll do do the same as always, as in waiting for the fundamentals to align for a change...except this time i'll wait for the trend to change ! or just follow the current trend

That's it - you're more likely to enter when there is confluence of at least one thing to lower the risk of something. Don't get too hung up on the entry or the exit, it's the middle bit you need to watch and you'll be stuffed if you don't apply money management to at least some of this.

As they say, "The Trend's on the mend until the bend of your friend"

I can't help thinking robster970's got the wrong end of the stick. Or maybe I have.
