Hello everyone, hope all is goed.

Back office query.

Need some advice on european accounting standards, in particular: in Netherlands and Poland. How do they differ or similar? In regards to reporting (settlements) as well. This is a pressing matter.

Many thanks

I think EU is under IFRS/IAS so reporting wont differ between the two countries. Most large organisations already adopted IFRS and smaller ones can opt into it atm before being forced in a few years (i forget the date). I think settlements etc come under the financial instruments IAS no 39

Suppose it depends on what you're after.
GAAP etc used should be stated in the notes of a previous years accounts for a company operating out of the company if you can get a set of them. That may give you a better look at policies and standards in place before IFRS.

Good luck

Do they still say Awesome over on cnbc (stopped watching it long ago)

Tx, for flicking the switch. IAS 39, remember now, I only had FSA exams last year.

Rgds

No probs man.

Was only a matter of time before my skills as an accountant were of some use lol.
