Have you seen this? Adjusting the frequency of your charts can help your trading in a lot of ways according to this video clip

Ah sh-t that's what I was doing wrong. I was using yearly data, wondered why I got so bored waiting for signals!

I disagree with his assertion that only using two time frames is futile in the execution and closing of trades.
Of course this "opinion" is based on my own exacting methods (which never fail, day in, day out)
I never have draw downs, and I only ever use 5min and 1hr "frequencies"
Again, I state, how opinion can obfuscate reality, and should be followed with great care!

There are many ways of looking at the market and whatever works for anyone is excellent. Some people believe it helps to divide their screen using pivots etc. Others find that distracting. In my reality it is also working beautifully day in and day out to adjust the frequency of my charts and many other people seem to find it helpful and are getting results which also speak for themselves. So there is no argument that whatever works for you cannot be working. But that does not mean that other people are not getting excellent results by seeing a different picture. It can only be a positive thing to see others developing more skill and getting better results.

freezeSL,....Well put,..I was just creating "arguement",..which is of course good for the learning process,..nice one!
