Is it right that NFP's are still coming out on Friday even though everything's shut for Easter? I would have thought they'd move it, but can't find anything that says they are moving it.... Just want to make sure like...

Any help appreciated.
Cheers

Took two seconds to find this out, seriously you ever heard of google?

Mate

I saw that - I thought it might be wrong thats all, what with Easter - not one to trust the first website that comes up on Google - just wanted to know if someone had any more information.

What i meant is I couldn't find anywhere that said it had been moved. That doesn't necessarily mean it hasn't been moved though - just wanted to check.

Ok ok point taken, I took it from the economic calendar that I've used for three years, never been wrong, very trustworthy, I'm pretty sure it's right put it that way ;)

OK thanks alot - I only ask because figures like the weekly oil stats get pushed around by holidays. Should be an interesting open come sunday/monday - assuming the NFP's are interesting of course....

When is NFP never not interesting  Like fireworks night when everyone goes "oooooh, arrrrrrr" apart from the people who have open positions that go " $%*% *%$£ god %$£** and %$£%**$"

Clocks went forward again - suspect it will be 1.30 and not 12.30 like it has been for the last 2 weeks of news that normally comes out at 1.30 if you're in uk.

does it make any difference given that the markets will be closed?

some us markets are open

yeh according to ib webiste:

Date : 2010-04-02

All of the U.S. Markets will be closed for regular trading hours except for the following:

CME Globex: Equity Products will close at 9:15 EST

CME Globex: FX and Interest Rate Products will close at 11:15 EST

CME Floor: Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Products will close at 11:00 EST

If Globex fx trading is still open i assume spot fx will be open also? anyone know
