Best indicators

Which indicators do YOU recommend and why ?

I have been using Macd, RSI, Mov averages etc. for years with mixed results.

Perhaps you favour a mixture of 2 or more indicators to compliment each other ??

Sorry, but here's a very roundabout way of answering. Why did you carry on using these indicators in that way when you realised your results were mixed?

Because basically I have tried many indicators and haven't found any that are much good. I know it largely depends on interpretation but xxxxxxxxx
So no harm in asking around ?? is there ??

No, no harm, but you've almost answered your own question. There aren't any simple indicators or combinations that consistently make money by themselves. What's your next step going to be?

If the humans can't predict their own future, how can they write predictive indicators?

I make my own indicators which indicate what I want the indicator to tell me.They work fine and do what I programmed them to do.

You can adjust indicator settings to become more reliable and accurate based on price.
They can be good and reliable , with the right combination and settings.

Try stochastics 4,3,2 with macd 2,5,3 combined on hourlies

I now use two but not at the same time, In a ranging market I use bolinger bands and support resistance lines.

Once there has been a breakout or in a trending market i use ma's to get in on the pullbacks.

Can you expand on the last part? How did you do this? On what program? Screen shots?

Here is a template with a good combination.Thats all you need.try it.I use it for currencies.

Get metatrader demo account and insert template in templates file and indicators in indicators file.

Open charts and load template.

Its about as good as it gets.

I use Metastock. Just using standard Macd then drag down the standard stochastic onto the Macd.
I have tried loading Metastock pics before but it won't for some reason - sorry

Seriously, nothing at all. I did keep MACD on for a while for divergence, but I wouldn't stay out of a trade if it wasn't there, nor would I enter a trade just because it was. So in the end I decided I could do without.

Tail wags .......... buy

Tail down and stationary ........ short the crap out of the market.

Dog sh1ts on the floor ........... market on verge of collapse .... stay on the sidelines until you have cleaned up the mess.
