No, not very impressive. You'd have thought they'd have redundancy and failover at each subsystem for such a business.

as you state, not impressive...

irrespective of the fact that I wasn't anticipating taking many trades (with IG) today it's still bloody annoying...Problem is (in a situation like this) that it doesn't take much effort to dismiss an SB co and finally go elsewhere..
back up now...

over burdened with forex traders who use Alpari and FXCM just doing a few end of month trades to get the chart package for free???

Back up and running now!

Luckily very unusually I hedged my positions last night, as it turned out with IG, just as well.

Very messy, down for hours, had a couple of times throughout 2009 when I couldn't log in, but nothing like that...
