the holidays

The holidays is coming up soon so i just want to ask those people with more experience when can we expect lite volume.And when will it be normal again.When will you start trading again.after new year or what?

I carry on swing trading right through holiday periods. EOD charts during December show just the same behaviour and signal reliability as in any other month. However, I only trade large caps or indices at any time. I don't pay any regard to newsflow - this can become erratic at holiday times, so are some reactions to news events.
