That usd/jpy went from 88.00 to 88.82 in half an hour. I had a target to enter on the break of prev bar high after a blatant fakeout at a confluence of major supports and support in a ranging down-channel. Round number low, no proper test of resistances with nice space to the upside. Mega divergence on 4 diff time frames. Hourly DX a turn signal at support. Dunno what else I could have asked for. Only thing aginst it was that it was counter-trend. Threw two hours away by not taking it. Never used to understand how much my having a small account affects my ability to trust in my own judgement. Oh well I think I've offloaded enough for today. Suppose there's money to be made for traders with balls and a decent wallet ;)

Barrier at 88.00, real low 88.01, then all sorts of interesting names buying it back up. No-one's looking at the charts on this today mate..

Don't worry that you missed the BOJ intervention :)

Look for exhaustion and sell the rally.

I'm not joking by the way.

That thing will be below 87.00 soon enough.

Yes, I have an accountant friend and I despise him. He's so risk averse and happy to take a few % over the year. The way he's so risk averse he may as well be dead. Oh, and he tries to give me gambling tips though he doesn't gamble - what a ******.

Who cares who made it go up, you'd have still missed it if it was Santa Claus moving the market. If you were going to trade becuase X and Y were happening then trade. If not don't.

I'm trying mate. I'm still a s1tbag.

Just keep it simple.

You seem to start trading OK and then suddenly have a loser and go off looking for a better method or reasons you shouldn't have taken the trade.

We all have those feelings sometimes. Just get on and trade, keep the losses little and make sure that when you get a runner you trail the stop or something so that 1 winner can pay for a few losers.
