Yes. Search for a book called How To Trade In Stocks by Jesse Livermore. The key will help you identify stocks that are ready to move.

IMO, stay away from the south side for a while.

Don't rely on other sources than you, man.

Why would you need tips?

The majority of tips from tipsters fall into two categories - tips following recent results announcements (the majority of newspaper-based tips), and 'contrarian' tips (meaning not supported by recent results or current positive price action).

Results tips - Look at the price on date when results are released, see the market's reaction - if its still up after a long lunch its a buy, if its down its a sell.

Contrarian tipsters have an even easier job - tip any small-cap share that is not going up, to rise any time in the next 2 years, by any amount.

We can all do this.
