Carbon Credits Fraud

I read somewhere about this newly created market by Goldman Sachs and how they stand to make billions from it. Looks like others are also cashing in, be it illegally.

The carbon credit markets are mainly being created by law through the government. The Australian government recently failed to pass a carbon credit law, and things look tenuous for passage in the US. I think any trading firm would look for profit potential by creating an exchange for these to be traded on or simply doing what we do with stocks, currencies, or commodities trying to make a profit. That's why we're on the forums right ? I think Goldman will be the new financial boogeyman and they have a big job in front of them trying to turn that image around.
