i tried demo trading with 1 minute,5 minute, and even 10 minute charts, each trade lead to a loss. Once i changed to 30 minute upwards, i could make some handsome virtual gains with my system.

Anyway, i was wondering, my system being capable of only allowing 1-2 trades a day, if even. Would anywhere take a 'trader' who trades so 'little' compared to intraday traders?

'No', I'm not sure they 'would', since your 'system' seems a bit 'crap'.

Sorry, it's the morning.

o really? well today using this 'crap' system i made this trade-

it works, can someone answer the question?

Ok, here's the answer - no, they wouldn't, unless you were clipping hundreds, which clearly you're not since you're fourteen years old, and even then they probably wouldn't be that interested. Also, one trade doesn't make you a hero. Have a nice day.

I don't get what the question is, and I can't see any picture apart from Mona.

All the dope apparently going around these days doesn't seem to be particularly awareness raising.

15, and actually thats one of 14 in the past week so far, 10 of which profitable

Oh, so you actually are a child, it's not just that you write like one. Aside from the fact that you're breaking the law, no firm is going to hire a minor, so it's not something you should really be worrying about.

Can someone translate what the question is ?

He wants to know if a prop firm would hire someone who is doing 3 trades a day or so. To be honest if you were paying the desk fee they probably wouldn't care what you were doing, but they're not going to make any commission out of you and you're certainly not going to be able to cover costs unless you're pretty spectacular (which, from the sound of things, he's not).

im demo trading at the moment first time on forex. all i was asking is would firms take traders who are more swing/ momentum over day traders,no need to get so critical, and apparantly not, question answered so im happy.

Don't they teach you about apostrophes in school any more? Maybe you were busy trading that lesson, so you just think that they're quotation marks..

SL for God's sake please try to be encouraging of the young chap. You really are an old hack that needs to be put out to pasture. If you are not, then I feel sorry for you.

TAjammy, keep working until you get a consistently profitable system and always trade your own cash. Trading for a firm only makes others wealthy. By the way, Skill Levereage is a hack for a firm called Futex, who are. by all accounts, sh*t so don't bother applying there in the future when you become profitable.

I always admire young people who are busy learning how to trade. When I was 15 I was too busy playing video games. I don't think working for a prop firm is something to dream about. If your system works, then get your parents to open an account, a small one, and have a go at it. The expereince will be great. Sometimes systems seem to work really well, until you put some cash with them. Or they'll work in certain market conditions but not in others.

I'm a day trader, and I try to put on as few trades as possible each day. There's no reason to jump in and out of 50 different stocks. Why not just catch the trend and ride it with your whole account in 1 stock? Most traders that fail, and of course most traders do fail, have 2 main things in common. Over trading, and stop losses that are too tight.

I know this doesn't exactly answer your question, but I wanted to say I think you're on the right track, and that you should start focus first on devleoping your trading, prove it great, and then look for ways to make money from. Believe me, if you get the first part right, money will find you.
I'm a day

thanks for the advice, just revised candlesticksagain, gonna try to use them in forex, demo account, money at home is tight at the moment so i'll just have to demo for a while, if my parents see i can trade well they could well back me, here's hoping!

realisedthat my system is a bit dodgy, going to try to trade reversals via candlesticks, and instead of the norm - buying breakouts which could be false, and trade the retracement instead, keeping it simple
