what do you do after a huge win/winning streak?

Take 50% out of your trading account, bank it and then act as though everything is the same. I've never been in that position myself so I wouldn't really know but that seems like the sensible thing to do from the outside.

edit: dont forget to deduct any tax liabilities from the top line first. (yawn)

Trade a smaller size to protect what you have made, rather than trying to make more. How long you trade the smaller size, is up to you.

continue? take a vacation?

Havn't won big enough to get it out of my trousers...what would constitute a big win? With me the aim is for a grand a day, if I hit that regularly for a year I'd buy a place; approx. 80m2 in Nice (old Nicoise bldg. run down, giving me the opportunity to 'build' equity in it) and send you all a virtual e-card whilst trading...:)

Nice is alright, couldnt live with that ****ing one way system tho! last time i was there nearly murdered EVERYONE! took as an hour to navigate it to get to our hotel which was a few blocks away (could ****ing see it!) sat nav = ****

From my experience DON't up your stake. In fact reduce it considerably. My max seems to be about 3 wins in a row. Then there is this huge unknown force out there trying to win it back from me. It knows that I am feeling invincible at this stage and it just has to wait until the inevitable happens.

Don't trade for a while, and get any possible sense of euphoria out of your system, then come back to it afresh. Definition of "while" depends on your timeframe and normal frequency of trades.
