Hi,

I'm sure there are some VERY successful traders on this forum. I'm looking for someone who is a real trader, very successsful, to mentor and teach me trading as a full time career, get me to a stage where I begin to trade and start earning an income. I'm already an intermediaate FX trader, understand technical analysis and all the core principles of trading psychology, trade and risk management, money management etc...... I now need to go to the next level which is to trade full time aand generate a consistent income from it, I presume this requires learning the right strategies, strategies that work, that only real, successful traders will know.

Is there anyone out there who would be interested? If yes, post a private message to me. We can discuss the terms / conditions. BTW, I'm based in the UK.

A proposition sort of implies that you have something to offer in return...

Of course. I guess it is down to discusssion. It can either be an agreed fee..... or, a win:win for both sides would be ---- I share profits made of trading from what I've been taught (with the investment in the account being mine of course) with some agreed parameters (such as maximum time period, or an amount cap etc., there are various models to choose from).... my only frank comment here is: I'm willing to make this a win:win for both sides, I'm an intermediate trader, not being successsful at winning consistently whereby steadily my account has suffered erosion, and thus, what I really need is PROVEN strategies that work consistently. What are your thoughts, if any?

Yup, I understand what you are saying, tho' I will say that I'm not looking for aa holy grail. I think I lack strategies, which over time, will give you profitable results. I'm sure there are successsful traders out theere, trading for a living... these are the guys who do not "sell" courses and systems, guess I'm trying to locate someone who fits this description and hope they would be interested in what I said. Trading is my goal and I'm looking for ways to make it successful and work for me! :)

Hi Genics..... saw the you tube link, interesting one! Thats what the market has done to me! SO, what are you saying? Is there no one who can help me??!

er...what's your problem again? Other than wanting someone else to pull the trigger for you it appears to me that you're nearly there...

Welcome to t2w, BaFx.

"where I begin to trade and start earning an income. I'm already an intermediaate FX trader, "

How can you be "an intermediate FX trader" and not have begun to trade and/or earn an income?

Perhaps its the terminology of "intermediate" trader I used that is incorrect.... to explain, I know various components of technical analysis, know various std. indicators, but I feel I do not seem to have a METHOD, bringing various things together. WIth what I consider some, but not full knowledge, I have been trading, but w/o success in making money. Somewhere I'm going wrong.... lack of strategies? Focussing on one edge? Discipline / psychology? Entry / exit of trades? Or a combination of all of these..... so, my problem could be more than one reason, I just feel the solution would be to learn from a veteran trader, learn the knowledge required (strategies) and all other aspects that will go with executing the strategies correctly (right entry, exits, S/L, money mgmt. etc.)

Hence I'm looking for exxpert help. Hope this explains?

OK, so you know what the steering wheel, pedals, mirrors rules of the road are, but you don't know how to drive.
I don't trade FX often myself (I trade US stocks) but I know someone who does and is very successful.
If you email me (not PM) I'll give you the name of an FX guy who is very good.

Got ya, but given how you've articulated/explained yourself this far I'd still contest that you can 'get there' by yourself. :)

what I really need is PROVEN strategies that work consistently.

I'm looking for ways to make it successful and work for me! :)

In Venn diagram speak, the items in the intersection of the sets defined by these two statements may not be that big so chances of success are slim. You could be shown the best strategy in the world and it may not work for you.

As you can spell "I'm" (I can't STAND it when people use "im"), I'll continue. Why not take the methods you already use and work out why they are failing? Work out when they work and when you're best off staying out. For instance, a trend following system will be blown out of the water when the market is ranging so you'd need to figure out how to tell when it's ranging... good luck. :)
