who cares

agree.
the fact we are more concerned with reps rather than discussing a myriad of trading-system and trade management threads, like ForexFactory, or even Babypips (for goodness sake), really indicates where the focus is. This is really a social site.

Cleary lots of people seeing there have been about 5 threads about it, all with lots of posts and leading to action by the website owner.... I thought I'd help him out a bit by doing a poll so he can see what the general consensus is. If you think its a waste of time then I gave you the option "Remove it completely". Instead you decided to say something stupid and unhelpful. For that I owe you a turd.

I joined a while back forexfactory but it seems a bit gay compared to here.

I'm not in the least homophobic, but forexfactory is definately the gayest of all trading forums. Glad someone else spotted it

Yup, last time I went there I immediately had the urge to bugger the guy sitting next to me, it's really a curious effect. Explains why there are so many californians on that site.

at least you can use their tanning oil as lube.

I've done it again havent I?

I meant the forexfactory website just looked a lot poorer than this one. Although I am yet to see a T2W economic calendar ;-)

Then again I only joined this website because I had a test with Tibra. Don't know how I found out you could learn stuff from these forums.

re mod repping poll option

mods shouldn't be asked to do further tasks, they have more than enough on their plate as it is! a big no no!

I think the reputation would be a useful function if it was specified that reputation is about truely helpful trading posts (Possibly through the mods handing it out) - Or like, you can give 1 rep a week and the mods check it to see if its reasonably well wrote about trading...

Otherwise its pointless - May motivate more helpful posts.

.....Have a base beans representing...say TA, Forex, Spread Bet, etc etc....line of beans....

....Then depending on the contribution by person posting, and if it is generally seen as constructive and liked, then reputation is given by readers, which then 'grows' in form of a bar chart.....

....If it is negative then it 'grows' below the ground as red......

FF have an even worse rep system which is the 1kt system. Basically, if you are deemed to have made over 1,000 live trades, they give you a badge of honour. The idea being that if you have made over 1,000 live trades you should know something about what you are doing as most of us don't have endless amounts of cash to p*ss up the wall. This is, however, the most useless rep system ever created since there is no way of verifying whether you have made that many and in actual fact, 1kt users just vote for their friends (with a member needing two votes to get his own badge).

At any rate, I want my f*cking 12 stars back. I worked for them.
