is oil in doldrums?

I think oil is quite volatile this week and that the OPEC meeting in Vienna is adding fuel to the situation. Already for two consecutive days, the crude prices are down and the dollar is on a bright note.

Heard that yesterday, Crude oil was lifted by bullish US inventory data. Ali-al-naimi said: Crude demand is starting to recover, removing any need to reduce production yesterday in Vienna.

I think you have read an old news story. The Opec meeting in Vienna was last week and the next one is not until 9 September 09. Oil is not in the doldrums and has not had a down day since last Tuesday.
