Hello... Just asking this for a friend because hes too lazy to search google and i usually come here for guidance.

Is there any spreadbetting companies which will allow you to open an account and deposit only £60 to trade with ?

I'm sure there is a joke in that thread title somewhere...

...but one serious answer is that if the offer is still open, Interactive Investor will actually deposit £100 in your account for you to trade with. You can't withdraw it, but I believe you can take out any profits made on it. I think you may only be add to it in multiples of £100 though.

There may be similar deals out there if you look around.

Whats the minimun with IG "tradesense" lets you start with 10p per point

or if he wants to trade FX there's oanda for 1c a pip

Why doesn't your mate just open a demo account and spend the £60 on booze. Would certainly get more out of it.

IG should be fine with it. Pretty sure you can invest whatever, and 10p/point. Can put money in and out instantly too, so all should be good.

I really can't be bothered to explain why... But good traders can make money from £60 because they truely understand how 'HIGH RISK' doesn't have to be risky at all

I am being honest. I'm not going to go throw out all the learning I've been doing to attempt to find create a personal strategy based on tried and tested professional methods for the sake of a maybe. Plus I like learning about the markets and trading methods.
