First of all, please excuse all naivety from me as I'm still far less educated on many of the areas that I would wish to be at this point.
I am seriously considering a career in trading sometime in the future and am currently researching and reading wherever possible towards that goal.
This forum is a strange concept to me... seems to be reliant on the experienced, altruistic and kinder members. Do you reply to such inexperienced threads whilst on a beach sipping an umbrella adorned beverage I sometimes wonder?
Onto business... my area of interest is UK shares. If we assume the market is due for recovery it's not a zero sum game is it? I'm considering day trading shares... particularly around momentum and overselling. I see so many regular trends upwards and downwards throughout the course of the day I'm thinking whats the catch? I know there is one cos life has taught me that there are a lot of peeps out there more clever and adept than me.
Would appreciate greatly any advice on this area. Or hell any old comments or anecdotes would do... please don't let my first post suffer from no replies.
