What is your favourite post-steam BR train?

Are you a fan of the light axle loading, high route availability, proper tractor diesel sound and long lasting nature of the Class 37? Perhaps you prefer that trademark Paxman Valenta whine as an HST passes you at 125mph with chaps in bowler hats sticking their heads out of the Mark 3 coaches? Or contrast with the raw power of the Class 91 or the Pendolino, both capable of cruising at 140 comfortably yet restrained by namby pamby restrictions to comparatively pedestrian speeds. Which of course reminds one of the tragic inventiveness of the APT. Or you may like the Class 8, as a Thomas the Tank Engine fan or just a bit into shunting wagons. We all have a favourite train, so what's yours?
