Margin accounts

Hi
Which bokers give great margins accounts, with great ratios.

And which ones give margin accounts with puttin in little amount of money? ETrade needs £5k minimum and to do a test online before being accepted. Too complicated and expensive for me. Any recommendations?

Some margins are set by LAW depending on the instruments and how you are trading. You need to be more specific.

CMC are great for your requirements, 0.5% margin on indices, and initial deposit only £200, but you must maintain £140 or so, or they will liquidate your open positions.

IG are also very good, check out the websites for more info on spreads and margins..
