I am looking for the best platform and broker to do automated trading. I am thinking about:
- Interactive Brokers / TWS (advantage: sipc insurance, free api, disadvantage: not sure if we can test automated strategies in a demo account)
- gft / dealbook (advantage: fsa regulated, insurance up to gbp 50k, no commission, disadvantage: they don't pay you interest on your deposits)
- tradestation securities / tradestation (sipc protection, i don't know much about them)
- metatrader mt4 with a regulated & insured compatible broker (does that exist?)
