Is Sim fills the same as Live???

Hi everyone. I use Ninja trader and am simulating at the moment.

Wanting to know if there is any difference when trading live. Are live trades just as quick???
Also, sometimes on the sim account, the price is right on my limit order, but it doesnt get filled, even after it sits on it for 30 seconds. Someone told me its because the sim orders are behind the live orders.....
Does anyone know if live fills quicker, or sometimes doesnt fill.

open the volume/histogram and see if any lots are being filled. note how many lots queuing when you enter your limit order then see if more than that get filled on histogram and whether you dont get filled. broadly speaking i think youre less likely to get filled than you are but varies a lot from contract to contract
