Well, I've noticed the majority of posters on these threads are Europeans. I seem to notice very few Americans. Are they out there? Are there any who are perhaps living abroad? There are so few traders I meet here in the US. I suppose the lack of spread betting has something to do with it. Is it true, in the UK you don't pay taxes on spreadbetting? That's absolutely wild if its true. The barrier to entry seems to be much higher in the US. I've noticed also that in the UK being a "trader" seems to be almost something of a taboo, where here in the US it's, in my opinion, a prestigious profession. Something I would be proud to tell someone I did full time.

So if you're out there, please say hi, I'm curious as to what markets you trade or what broker you use or what timezone you live in.

Also, if someone could confirm the whole tax-free UK thing, that would satiate some curiosity for me.

Thanks:drunk:
