Hi all

I am new on this forum & just strated oil & gold spread betting on avatrader practice account & from $100000 I trun them into $500000 in 4 days my target it do 2million before I put my real money in it I have been in shares in past & lost quite heavy money
I am reasearching arround on oil & gold if you heard news oil short term goal is $30 & gold $1000
if people like to share there earnings & loses from there trading experiances are most welcome I like to hear please do mention the time period also & what kind of capital they play with

I think this should be posted under "First Steps" section. Vic, you are risking too much of your account per trade, as you should be no where near increasing your equity 5 fold in 4 days. Before you do anymore demo trading i suggest you read up on discipline and money management. All of which can be found on these forums.

Try trading the size you'd trade for real, and also rememeber you're more likely to be more brave with pretend money...

It's up to you to find this stuff out, there isn't any free lunch in the markets so you should get used to the idea of having to put a lot of work in yourself. But as a guide, risk 2-3% of your capital per trade, cut your losers and run your winners, easy really .
