I can't open with ABN because I live in the Republic of Ireland so no joy. Basically I want to be able to trade higher time frames on a range of markets and I'd like to try things out with real money but risk acceptable to my account balance (which will be small). I was considering opening an account with ABN using an address I used to live at in London while in college, but no telling what they could send out in the post and who's hands it would end up in!
