Hi everyone, im not very expeerienced however ive been learning slowly over the years. I would like to purchase apple stock as i feel its bottomed out or nearly bottomed out at 80. Im in the uk with my money in GBP. Firstly i called barclays stock broker and they would charge me 1.5 % on foreign exchange deals. Considering the amount of money i think this is ludacris and was wondering if there was any online stock broker where i could purchase them for a flat rate say 6 pound per trade etc. Additonally would i have to convert my funds to us dollars. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

- interactive brokers
- <=300,000 Shares USD 0.0035 per share (commision)

when setting up an account i believ u can choose the base currency USD or GBP or many more dohs ...although i doubt deyd acept zimbawean dollar cos deyd be counting trillions for every 10'er

ye buy dat ...but sell once above 120+ - 150 (cos its only gona come back down ) - ye bois its only a bear market rally.

.......so dont sue me or ill run u ova in my kitted up and slicked out low rider tinited window, neon lighted, nitrous supported, hydraulic BM3 M3 CSL hard top convertivle with 6000 watt sound system
ayt?

ps. its a US stock prices in USD, i believ even if u choose to have a GBP base denomination, ultimatly if u are buying REAL stock and stock/money is changing hands...den the GBP doh will be converted into USD somwhere down the line....

Sounds great man how long would it take to set up and fund my account. Also if I buy us dollars wouldnt it be a good idea for me to shop around and get a good rate on the conversion. Thanks for looking at my thread bud. By the way im liking your ride.

ye any time.
well i do believe that IB would hav a good coversion rate...not unlike swaping £ for $ at the local money converter for holidays....those guys but rape u

besides as i said, i beleiev u can set a an account deonomiated in GBP...and once u buy US stock it would be coverted at the spot.

duno anywhere from a couple days to over a week to set it up.

let me know how dis trade turns out

thanks bud id really appreciate it if i could add you to msn or something. By the end of the week that stock will probably be back up again

or if u hold dat stock for a long period...years n years n just sleep off the chaos right now...one day it will be well above its current price (considering ur not just a trader, n want to invest for the long run, for ur pension, or kids college etc.

Interactive brokers is the way to go as you can hold your funds in GBP... once you have got them the paperwork and funds, it will take about 8 business days (they say 5).
