UK Banking Groups, to help savers cover their deposits

A few months ago, one of the weekend paper listed the major UK banking groups.

Some banks are owned by others, so if an investor has accounts with two groups then they won't be covered by the £50k FSA guarantee.

The newspaper article listed the banking groups, and what banks were under them, in order to help savers make sure they were covered.
