Online HKEx equity trading brokerage recommendations?

Would anyone like to share their experiences with online brokerages that facilitate trading equities on the Hong Kong exchange from USA/Canada? I've done a small amount of research and found some horrific reviews of E-trade's practices, and one or two references to BOOM.com but no info on their ease of use.
All recommendations/warnings are welcome.

how about IB?

Wow! Nice. However their $10k minimum will keep me out for a few months and by that time I think the Asian rebound will be done. But IB is probably where I'll wind up sometime next year.
Any others?
