How many pips per trade are required for a backtested system to be worthwhile test trading on EURUSD? I'm testing some stuff and it only averages 3-5 pips over a few thousand trades. I'm not sure whether or not slippage will kill the system.
On my real trading I appear to be averaging 3 EUR per lot traded on one system, and 12 EUR per trade on another.
