I read the following in wiki

The OTC Bulletin Board or OTCBB is an electronic quotation system in the United States that displays real-time quotes, last-sale prices, and volume information for many over-the-counter (OTC) equity securities that are not listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange or a national securities exchange. Broker-dealers who subscribe to the system can use the OTCBB to look up prices or enter quotes for OTC securities.

Although the NASD oversees the OTCBB, the OTCBB is not part of the NASDAQ stock exchange. According to the SEC, "fraudsters often claim or imply that an OTCBB company is a Nasdaq company to mislead investors into thinking that the company is bigger than it is."[1]

It sounds very dodgy for me, I will make a pass, sorry

actually.. it sounds pretty expensive.. WHAT about ETRADE? AND SAXO BANK? AND.. SCOTTRADE? hmmm anyone check out the rates at SOGO TRADE?

Hey newbie. You might want to rethink your idea a bit before jumping into the OTC markets; especially penny stocks.

I tried two penny stocks once and took a small hit. They both did a reverse split so I ended up with 25 stocks of a 25,000 stock buy. They cost $250 USD.

Another one I bought 10,000 stocks for $100 USD and they did a couple of reverse splits. I now have 2 of those stocks that are selling for 0.005 cents each.

A note: the 1st stock has disappeared from the face of the earth.

In my view I think the commodity markets are a bit safer. Then, of course, there is always the FOREX :whistling Have you ever heard of anyone losing money in the action packed FOREX? :p

Good trading
RT... :clover:
