Explaine please

HI felas I have a question, I am new here, How can investor loose money, if he bought for example Apple stocks for 100$, and belive that they will go up, but they go down to 90$ per sher, if he sell it he will loose 100$ , I understant it, but if he not sell it, and wait antill they go up? he loose anything? Thank you

Are you an enron accountant?

The investor if they dont sell at $90 have still incurred a paper loss of $10, If they sell at $90 they incur a financial loss.
