Just had a Job Offer.
I applied for some Jobs online and got an interview with a Prop company in Essex.
They said we will offer you the Job , however for you to start we need you to fund your own account with £15,000 then we will allow you to trade for us then we shall give you higher leverage so you can trade with higher amounts of money. In return you get 20% of any profits you make. There is also a desk fee that is dependant on what business I put through exchanges pluss comissions.
What is this I thought ?
After some mathamatical anaalysis ( sorry not good with spelling )
It worked out I would be better of trading my own account with my own funds.
I saw lots of younger people working for this company.
My initial reaction is why dose a company need me to put in £15K to give me a job ?

Could you guys please give your thoughts ?

No. Just no.

From what you say it sounds like an arcade as opposed to a trading firm, and in an arcade you're not an "employee" per say, but simply hiring their stuff. And the fact that they want to "give" you 20% of profits, well, it sounds like a scam.
